What is a baby dedication?

A baby dedication is a special moment where parents publicly commit to honouring God as they raise their child in the ways of Jesus. It is also an opportunity for our church family to pray for, encourage and support parents as they nurture their child in faith and become part of our church community. A baby dedication is a commitment made by parents and is distinct from baptism, which is a personal decision of faith made by an individual.
